The Finale

This will be the last blog post for my game Escape the Horde. The game is now finished to a point where I would be happy to release it as an Alpha, however, there were a few features that I would have liked to implement such as the players gun having restricted ammo in the magazine, and when they reload the gun it reduces the movement speed of the player, meaning that the player must carefully choose when to reload their weapon as if they get swarmed by zombies, they will take a great amount of damage and potentially die. Another feature I would have liked to add was 3D sound for the zombies, so, the player could get a feel of a sense of urgency, depending on how close the zombie is to the player. As the game will be released onto Itch.io as an Alpha version, these features could be added in the near future, and the feedback that I will receive from the players will be invaluable to the creation of Escape the Horde.
